The Sovereign Word
Hey! If you're here and you want to start a relationship with God, I can definitely help you get started.

Let me take you through kind of a "plan of salvation".

The first point is that every person has sinned. I've sinned, you've sinned, we have all sinned. And a lot of us kind of justify ourselves, we say, "well, you know, I'm a good person generally". But if you've ever lied, if you've ever stolen, if you've ever cheated, if you've even looked at someone with a little bit of hatred in your heart, you've sinned. There's no one that hasn't broken at least one commandment. We’re guilty before God. And this is a problem because God is holy, He's perfect. And if there was nothing we could do to be saved, we would be guilty before Him forever.

The book of Romans says that the wages of sin is death. By death it means spiritual death, it means hell. And there's a misconception that in order to avoid hell and get to heaven you just have to be a generally good person, do good things, and if you're a good enough person, you'll earn your way in there, but that's not true. That's not one bit true. We can't earn our way into heaven by our good works. I mean, there's nothing we can do to save ourselves. And it would be pretty hopeless if it stopped at that point, but it doesn’t.

So what do we do? Well, it's about what Christ did. So when Jesus came here to earth, He lived the perfect life, He never sinned, not even once. He was the only person who ever lived who never sinned.

And Jesus was not just a man. He was the Son of God, but He was also ONE with God. And this is a little hard to understand. You can ask a nearby pastor if that's a little confusing. But for not just understand that, while He was the Son of God, He was also one with God. In other words, Jesus was God Himself.

Now, because no man can pay a penalty for another man, God Himself had to come down to earth and die on the cross for us. So, God Himself was paying our penalty. When Jesus died on the cross, He was taking all of our sin, every wrong thing we've done, and He was taking that onto Himself. And when He died, He became the sacrifice for our sins. So, think about all of our guilt, all of our wrong, all of our dirt and every bad thing we ever did, and think about Jesus on the cross: it all comes off from us and goes onto Him, and He dies with that guilt on Him instead of on us.

And when He rose from the grave, He defeated death for all time. And that's why Christians don't have to be afraid of death. Now, Jesus dying on the cross for our sins was the sacrifice needed so that we could be forgiven. But in order to be forgiven, you personally have to believe in Him.

You have to believe that He was the Son of God and that He was God Himself. You must believe that when He died on the cross, He was taking our punishment onto Himself and sacrificing Himself for our sin. 3 days later, He rose from the dead. So, Jesus overcame death for all time. He defeated death. All this was done so that we could be saved; so that all of our sins could be forgiven.

And if we believe in Jesus Christ, who He is, what He did, the fact that He never sinned, that He died to forgive us and then rose again from the dead, we can have eternal life.

And with this eternal life comes a change and it's not a change that we do all on our own. But this change is a necessary one, and our part is called repentance. And repentance is just a turning from sin. So, once we become a Christian, we're living for Christ instead of living for ourselves. We start trying to do God's will in all the things that we do. Repentance is a turning away from sin, and a turning to God. And it's a life change. A life of obedience to Him.

Now, does this mean that Christians never sin? No. Christians will fall into sin sometimes. As a Christian, you will backslide, you will fall back into sins that you thought you had completely gotten rid of. But you just have to keep repenting and turning and fighting these sins and praying for God to help you. And this is called continual repentance. It's not like the first time you repent and turn away from all your sin forever. It's continual. So, this is like when we fall back into it. We confess our sin before God and we ask His forgiveness, and we ask Him to help us.

And the first time you repent as well, the first repentance, is the same thing: you confess all of your sins to God and you say, "God, I'm gonna turn from this. I'm gonna live for You now. I'm gonna change my direction, turn onto the right road".

Now this is important, you DO NOT earn salvation by doing good things. Salvation comes only by faith and belief in Jesus Christ, not by good works. But the Christian lives to do God’s will because their life has changed direction and, as stated before, they are living for Him now instead of living for themselves.

And the Christian life is a continual process of turning back onto that right road. You're gonna stumble, but you just have to keep living for Christ and seeking everyday to get better. If you find that you're struggling, it helps to have community. It helps to have Christian friends. It helps to have a good pastor you can talk to. And that brings me onto the next thing.

So, if you've come to know Jesus, if you've believed in what I've told you so far and you've repented and you've decided, "okay, I'm gonna follow Jesus", well, I'm really happy first and foremost, and I want to say welcome to the family of God. What you're gonna want to do now is you're gonna want to find some Christian community, some Christian foundation. And one of the first things you can do is start learning how to pursue God in relationship.

Now, this is a lot more than a religion, it's also a relationship with God. So, how do we pursue God in relationship? We pray. We can talk to Him about anything, anything on our minds, anything on our hearts. There's not a specific way to pray. You pray with respect. Note, you always pray with respect. When I pray, I just kind of pour out my heart to God, and I just tell Him what I'm feeling, what I need help with, what's bothering me. I talk to Him like I talk to my best friend because He is my best friend. And that's how we can access Him as believers because He's our Father. He's our Father in heaven and He cares about us, He wants to hear from us.

And, secondly, if you don't have a Bible, I would get yourself a Bible. I would recommend the English Standard Bible. The NASB, the New American Standard Bible, is also good. That's just what I think. I think if I was a new Christian, I would start with the English Standard Bible because it's a good translation in my opinion and it's easy to understand, easy to read. So, I would invest in a Bible. I would start with the gospels. It's a good place to start if you're a new Christian. The books of James and 1 John are good, as are the books of Matthew, Mark, and Luke. Romans is kind of a complicated book, but Romans 8 and 9 are very good chapters when it comes to the reality of salvation. But I would start in the gospels, and I would definitely seek a pastor or a Christian friend if you're still wondering where to start or you don't know where to begin. So, get a Bible, start digging into God's Word, start knowing Him through His Word and your relationship with God will grow through that.

And the last thing I want to mention is, find a local church nearby. Now, when it comes to finding a good church, I can't tell you what a perfect church is. There are many different denominations. Now, personally, I go to a Baptist church and I think the Baptist denomination is pretty good, and I'm not pushing that on you, but it has very upright doctrine. But go to a church that believes in everything I mentioned, that Jesus is the Son of God, that He's one with God, that He's God Himself; a church that believes the Bible is the accurate Word of God and that only through faith in Jesus can a person be saved. And these are very important things that your church should believe. Most churches have a website where you can look up the core beliefs that they have, and the core beliefs that they uphold as a church. So, it's a good way to figure out where to go, where not to go.

But like I said, there are no perfect churches. There really aren't. And you're not going to find a church with perfect people. Christians are just flawed people that are forgiven by the grace of God. We're not always gonna be reliable, we're not always gonna say the right thing. But it's important for a Christian to know other Christians because it helps you have community. I know it's not easy for some of us. But we need community in Christ to ground us, to strengthen us in our faith, to give us that support system, and to help us know Jesus better.

There's something for everyone. In a lot of churches, they have youth groups, they have adult groups, they have seniors; there’s stuff for recovery. There's all sorts of programs. Just find community. Find other Christians who are going to love on you, who are going to help you, and teach you, and grow you in the faith. And I just pray that you find that Jesus is everything I've just described Him to be and that He's so much more.

God bless, everyone :)

I lost my beloved mother yesterday and the pain is beyond words. This song is comforting me.
If you are reading this please honor your mother and father. Don’t hurt their feelings ever, make peace with them. Do your best to fight for them and protect them if they are in the hospital. Take care of them, make memories, forgive and don’t hold grudges. Love unconditionally
My mother was the purest woman I have ever seen, loving , kind , compassionate and a believer. Losing her hurts beyond measure but I know where she is now for sure and for certain.

❤️❤️❤️The Beautiful Wife💓💓
The head of Jesus is God the Father, the head of men is Jesus Christ, the head of woman is men.
When Jesus Christ is the head of the husband his wife shall reverence him and her husband shall praise and honor her ❤💃...
It is written.
She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and deliver-eth girdles onto the merchants.
25 Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellent them all.
30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.
31 Give her of the fruits of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.
~Proverbs 31:24 By Kings with LOVE~
* You are honored and loved ❤️❤️❤️, created by the Most High LOVE. You are loved by Jesus enough to die for. Gift is the Holy Spirit. Intimacy, power, strength, joy may flourish. Seek He who is true love, that you may become Humble LOVE.

“Being humble does not mean that you are depressed, but that you are humbling yourself for the sake of others. You reduce yourself from your original position just to bless somebody else. That’s not easy, when the flesh is full of pride, because pride desires promotion, to be seen, and to show off. Humility is the opposite. Humility teaches you to voluntarily abase yourself.” ~David E. Taylor~

How often Does a Judgmental Spirit and a “Lack of Love” in a Christian or Minister’s lLife Hide Behind what They call Spiritual “DISCERNMENT?”

Notes :

I’ve noticed that most Christians and their Ministers, who are carnal and always in the flesh, sit in judgment of other servants of God, While they are deceived by their so-called “discernment!” It is nothing more than their suspicions, ignorance, lack of knowledge, and/or misunderstandings about a particular person who they perceive to be off!!

What is the antidote for this false discernment and spiritual immaturity in a person’s life who is truly pursuing God, so that they don’t fall into judgment from Him for doing it?? How do you distinguish between whether or not you are truly walking in the “gift of wisdom” or “discernment?” Simple.. I’m glad you asked!!

The Bible says never to judge anything before its time... however, because this generation is impatient, doesn’t do research, wants immediate answers, and craves knowledge over the relationship, they rush to judgment and in the process not only their discernment about people is wrong, but their assessment and approach toward them is wrong too..

Solomon knew that no matter what kind of wisdom and discernment God gave him after he asked, he still had to wait and test the two women in the Bible, in order to appropriately discern between them, and get a “righteous” answer concerning who was the mother..

Discernment (Solomon asked God for this gift of discerning between his people ) usually operates with the wisdom of testing, and sometimes that may take time and patience, depending on the situation.  When someone rushes to judgment with a lack of love and patience (love is patience ), the true discernment is that their behavior is not righteous before God at all... and you can tell people who say they operate in discernment but instead are in the flesh, because of the suspicion of their ignorance and fear of a thing or person, because they lack genuine knowledge in these traits and tests:

A). Have they prematurely judged the person or situation in their mind by what they already think about them or by what someone else told them about a person or circumstance, without due process or right tests of discernment, that genuinely prove the truth!! (we’ve seen the evil in men in historical society who put innocent people to death because they thought they were witches)! If they have, it shows they have rushed in error, to discern through the spirit of impatience, and a lack of love. There is no due process... That’s why God allows due process or time even before He judged the angels that fell...

B). Has God’s Holy Spirit truly weighed in on the matter, after acknowledging His leading... He will lead and guide you into all truth, not into your own discernment... That’s one of His functions in the life of a Christian, as stated by Jesus!! He leads and guides you into “all truth” not partial truth.. This leading and guiding into all truth from His personal presence and involvement in your life is different from the gift of discernment, as mentioned in the scriptures, as one of His gifts given to the believers in the church.. A gift only reveals in part, not in whole. When the Person of the Holy Spirit comes (not when His gift comes) He will lead and guide you into this dimension of “all truth!”

C). Have you fasted and prayed, in love, over the person’s soul enough... It’s easy to write people off and judge them quickly because you’re not invested in their life like God is over them... He said all souls are His!! He’s invested in each person. He’s not so quick to write off! Instead, He sent His Son to die for that soul’s salvation.. this shows how much of a lack of love the church or so-called discernment people have... They are quick to prejudge a soul whom God died to deliver them, even out of their sins. They lack the true foundation of love... Operating in discernment without love, is the most dangerous thing... The Lord said, though I have all gifts and have not love with it, I am nothing... A lack of love blinds people who say they have discernment... They have no true love for the person because there’s no investment!! DON’T TRUST THEM!! Even if they are right, they only know part!! Not the whole!!

It is really important to note what I’m saying here... about the spirit of impatience...  it makes sense because the very first thing God uses to describe love is “patience!” Love is patient, love is kind.. because to be patient you have to have faith...

So often, people who operate in discernment separate it from love, as I am saying here,l don’t use it as an excuse to not walk in love with someone...

These are the answers and more of how you test, judge, or discern the ones putting themselves on the throne of Discernment against you??

Make them accountable... Discern the Discerners or the ones who are trying to discern you...

I love what this one definition of discernment says: “true biblical discernment is the process of determining and knowing God’s heart and desire in a matter...” and this is achieved through intimate conversation and pursuit of Him...

It’s pursuing His heart in a matter...

I’ve encountered a lot of people who say, “well, I have the gift of discernment,” but their fruit is rotten!! They are so arrogant and full of self-righteousness and judgments. They cast people away because, they “discerned,” but they are so far from genuinely knowing or seeking God’s heart toward the person and situation.. because they don’t seek His wisdom, His truth, or His true heart...

What I’m saying is.. WITHOUT His love, working WITH ANY SPIRITUAL GIFT OR POWER, we are nothing!!! Do you really want to be looked at in God’s eyes as NOTHING?? MOST Christians don’t care, simply because  they are more interested in being looked at through the eyes of men, as being something versus valuing being viewed by the eyes of God as being Nothing!! Their priorities and values in the Spirit are completely wrong and are at enmity with God’s heart!! They are truly men-pleasers whether they tell the truth or not!
~David E. Taylor~
